Senior Courtney Medley scored a career-high 28 points Saturday, leading Winston-Salem State past St. Augustine's 100-67 in a CIAA Southern Division game.
Medley scored 22 in the first half, when the Rams (13-5, 2-0) shot 61 percent to pave the way to their 10th consecutive victory. LaQuanda Williams (16 points), Taylar Wells (11) and Jasmine Newkirk and Jovanah Graham (10 each) also hit double figures for the Rams.

Appalachian 78, Furman 63: Maryah Sydnor scored 20 points for the second consecutive game, and Courtney Freeman added 16 points and 10 rebounds as Appalachian State won its fourth consecutive game.
The victory allowed ASU (15-3, 9-1) to stay alone atop the SoCon standings. Appalachian trailed just twice and led for the final 32 minutes.
High Point 58, Winthrop 53: Shamia Brown scored 24 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, Cheyenne Parker added 13 points and 22 rebounds, and High Point won at Winthrop to improve to 8-0 in the Big South for the first time in program history.
Parker tied her Division I school record for rebounds.
Western Carolina 69, Wofford 60: Kaila'Shea Menendez hit three 3-pointers and scored a game-high 19 points, including the 1,000th of her career, in Western Carolina's Southern Conference victory in Cullowhee. Alex Abraham added 10 points, and the Catamounts (7-13, 2-9) led 32-24 by halftime.
Delaware State 66, N.C. Central 55: Tierra Hawkins scored 19 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in Delaware State's MEAC victory in Durham. Delaware State (4-15, 1-5) led 30-28 at halftime but pulled away in the second half as Central (2-18, 0-7) shot just 35 percent (7 of 20). Alesha Jenkins led Central with 14 points.
N.C. A&T 53, UMES 50: Tiffanie Adair had 15 points and 10 rebounds, and N.C. A&T held on for an MEAC victory at Maryland-Eastern Shore. Kwinyatta Mercer of UMES had a steal and a layup to trim A&T's lead to one but came no closer. Nikia Gorham added 10 points for A&T.
Liberty 78, UNC Asheville 56: Devon Harris scored 25 points, and visiting Liberty dominated from the foul line in a Big South victory. Liberty (12-7, 7-1) was 22 of 31 at the foul line; UNCA (7-12, 3-5) was just 2 for 5. Shonese Jones led the Bulldogs with 19 points.
Samford 67, Elon 53: Paige Anderson scored 22 points, and Hannah Dawson added 19 points and 10 rebounds in Samford's Southern Conference victory in Birmingham, Ala. Ali Ford led Elon (10-10, 6-5) with 16 points, and Aiesha Harper added 10.
Denmark Tech 91, Piedmont International 65: Tiyanna Burwell scored 20 points, and four of her teammates also hit double figures as Denmark (S.C.) Tech won in Winston-Salem. Emily Buffaloe had 30 points and 10 rebounds for Piedmont (11-3), and Kirby Hill added 16 points.
Campbell 53, Presbyterian 44: Campbell used a 15-2 rally in the last 6½ minutes to push past Presbyterian in Big South action in Clinton, S.C. Kristen Stevens' 3 gave Presbyterian a 37-35 lead with 6:36 left, but Kate Cloxton answered for Campbell (12-7, 5-3) with a 3 for a one-point lead. The Camels scored on their next three possessions and eventually led by 11 with 27 seconds left. Tonisha Baker led Campbell with 18 points.
Chattanooga 63, UNC Greensboro 44: Whitney Hood and Kayla Christopher scored 16 points each, and host Chattanooga stopped a two-game losing streak by winning its 13th consecutive in the series. Breonna Patterson scored 10 points for UNCG (3-16, 2-9 SoCon).
Radford 63, Gardner-Webb 50: Da'Naria Erwin Spencer scored 21 points, and Sarah Tabb added 16 points to lead Radford to a Big South victory in Boiling Springs. Mayhana Dunovant led Gardner-Webb (2-16, 1-7) with 11 points.
