Parkland finished two rounds of the Midwest 4-A Regional with 12 wrestlers still in championship contention and a slight lead on second-place Davie County and East Forsyth.
Parkland has 45.5 points heading into today's quarterfinals at 9 a.m., and Davie and East Forsyth are next with 37. Davie has nine wrestlers in the championship round, and East has eight.
In the Midwest 3-A Regional at Ledford, Ledford had the team lead after the quarterfinals with 50 points, and Concord Robinson was a close second with 47. Ledford has five wrestlers in the semis.
