Detroit hands Green Bay first loss

Shareta Brown scored 24 points and Senee Shearer added 23 to help Detroit stun No. 9 Wisconsin-Green Bay 70-58 on Thursday night, handing the Phoenix their first loss of the season.

The Titans (13-11, 9-3 Horizon League) snapped the Phoenix's (20-1, 10-1) 40-game regular-season winning streak and ended their bid for a second straight perfect season in the Horizon.

No. 4 Stanford 69, Southern California 52: Chiney Ogwumike had 21 points, 12 rebounds and a career-high six blocked shots and Stanford (21-1, 12-0 Pac-12) extended its school-record home winning streak to 75 with a win against Southern California (12-11, 6-6).

No. 5 Duke 71, Boston College 62: Chelsea Gray scored 10 of Duke's last 12 points and the visiting Blue Devils (20-3, 11-0 ACC) avoided an upset with a win against Boston College (5-19, 0-11).

Gray hit a jumper that gave Duke a 61-55 lead with 3:22 left.

No. 8 Maryland 91, Clemson 61: Lynetta Kizer scored 18 points and visiting Maryland (21-3, 8-3 ACC) had six players in double-figure to win its 10th straight game against Clemson (6-16, 2-9).

Illinois 66, No. 10 Ohio State 65: Alexis Moore made a game-winning layup with two seconds left to give Illinois (9-16, 3-9 Big Ten) a win against visiting Ohio State (21-3, 8-3).

Vanderbilt 93, No. 11 Tennessee 79: Tiffany Clarke scored 23 points, and Vanderbilt (19-5, 7-4 SEC) upset visiting Tennessee (17-7, 8-3) for its fifth straight win overall and a rare victory against its in-state rival.

Michigan 63, No. 13 Nebraska 52: Carmen Reynolds matched her season high with 16 points and visiting Michigan (18-7, 7-5 Big Ten) capitalized on Nebraska's abysmal shooting to upset the Cornhuskers (19-4, 8-3).

No. 12 Delaware 76, Old Dominion 63: Elena Delle Donne had 27 points and 15 rebounds to lead Delaware (21-1, 12-0 Colonial Athletic Association) to its 11th straight victory, a win against visiting Old Dominion (6-16, 5-7).

No. 18 Penn State 69, Wisconsin 54: Maggie Lucas scored 16 points to help Penn State (19-5, 9-3 Big Ten) beat visiting Wisconsin (8-16, 4-8).

BYU 70, No. 19 Gonzaga 40: Kim Parker had 16 points and BYU (22-4, 10-2 West Coast) scored 20 straight in the second half to rout visiting Gonzaga (21-4, 10-2).

Arkansas 68, No. 24 South Carolina 47: C'eira Ricketts scored 16 points and had seven rebounds and seven assists to lead Arkansas (18-5, 7-4 SEC) to a win against visiting South Carolina (18-5, 7-4).

UNC Wilmington 72, Georgia State 69: Atlanta native Abria Trice hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to lift UNCW (15-8, 8-4 CAA) to a road victory.

N.C. State 74, Longwood 45: Erica Donovan scored 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds as N.C. State picked up a home win. Bonae Holston scored 13 and Kody Burke added 10 for the Wolfpack (15-10), who had 13 players score.

UAB 58, East Carolina 47: East Carolina cut a 14-point halftime deficit to six, but could not pick up the road win. Amber Jones scored 16 points to lead the Blazers (17-5, 8-2 C-USA), and LaShaunda Pratt (Carver) added 11.

Kristine Mial led the Pirates (6-17, 0-10) with 13 points, and Chareya Smith added 10.

Piedmont International 75, Appalachian Bible College 44: Suzanne Smith scored 20 points and grabbed 14 rebounds, and Kirby Hill scored 18 points as Piedmont International defeated Appalachian Bible in Beckley, W.Va.
