• Gerry Hairston (North Forsyth) had 22 points to help the Vikings clinch the Mid-Piedmont 3-A regular-season title with a 70-49 win over Ledford.

• Winston-Salem Prep had four scorers in double figures and improved to 15-0 in Northwest 2-A/1-A play with a 71-40 win over visiting Mount Airy. Josh Hogg led the Phoenix with 14 points.

• Richard Daniels (Carver) had 22 points in a 55-52 PAC 6 2-A loss to High Point Andrews.

• Joe Claffee (Forsyth Home Educators) had 23 points in a 63-56 win over New Garden Friends. Daniel Moore added 10 rebound and 10 assists for FHE.

• John Spease (Woodland Baptist) had 16 points and 12 rebounds in a 53-50 win over Gospel Light. Robert Kennedy added 19 points and eight assists for Woodland.
