RALEIGH

Allie Sadow scored two goals, and Coach Tony da Luz earned his 200th career women's soccer victory last night in Wake Forest's 2-0 victory over N.C. State.

Da Luz's career record is 200-133-22. His record at Wake Forest is 155-92-20.

With the victory, sixth-ranked Wake Forest improved to 11-2-1, 3-1-1 in the ACC. N.C. State fell to 7-6-1, 2-4.

Sadow, a senior forward, scored in each half. Her first goal came in the sixth minute, her second in the 63rd minute. It was the third multi-goal game of her career and gave her three goals this season.

Junior Amanda Barasha recorded her fourth straight shutout in goal. She made three saves.

Sadow's first goal came after Jackie Logue played a cross that Sadow shot into the right side of the net. Kaley Fountain set up the second goal with a pass that left Sadow one-on-one with goalkeeper Kim Kern.

The Deacons will open a three-game homestand Sunday, when they play Miami at 1 p.m. Any fan who brings a church bulletin may buy one ticket at full price and get another ticket for free.
