Dave Wojcik is expected to leave his brother's coaching staff at Tulsa to reunite with Dino Gaudio, his former high-school coach, at Wake Forest.
Head coach Doug Wojcik of Tulsa said yesterday that his brother was expected to leave his staff after the two spent four years together with the Golden Hurricane to become an assistant at Wake Forest.
Connections between the Wojciks and WFU run deep.
Dave Wojcik played guard for Gaudio's team at Wheeling Central in West Virginia that won a state title in the mid-1980s. Before that, Doug Wojcik played for Skip Prosser, the late Wake Forest coach, in high school.
