East Forsyth tops Atkins 35-14 to stay unbeaten

East Forsyth 35, Atkins 14: East Forsyth scored three first-half touchdowns and rolled past Atkins last night in Kernersville.

Ian Thompson scored first for East Forsyth on a 5-yard pass from Danny O'Brien, but Atkins answered with Jeremy Borr's touchdown run to cut the lead to 7-6.

Anderson scored on a 14-yard run in the first quarter and a 5-yard run in the second quarter. Rhyne scored on a 53-yard run, also in the second quarter.

Glenn 13, North Forsyth 6: David Brown returned an interception 30 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter and visiting Glenn defeated North Forsyth last night.

North Forsyth's Tim Moses scored the game's first touchdown on a 62 yard reception from Krishawn Coleman. Maurice Harris scored Glenn's only offensive touchdown on an 8-yard run in the second quarter.

Davie County 38, Providence Day 20: Skeeter Montgomery had 205 yards rushing and scored four touchdowns to lead Davie County past Providence Day last night in Charlotte.

Providence Day scored first on a 60-yard pass from Gary Scott to Blake Wylie, but Davie answered with a 47-yard field goal by Michael Rowe and an 87-yard touchdown run by Montgomery for an 11-3 lead.

Forsyth Country Day 20, South Davidson 18: Josh Strickland carried the ball 20 times for 204 yards and two touchdowns as Forsyth Country Day held off South Davidson last night in Lewisville.

The Furies struck first, scoring on a 7-yard pass from Luke Johnson to John Hewell. Strickland scored his first touchdown on a 3-yard run and the 2-point conversion gave his team a 14-0 lead.
