Four community colleges in the Triad will manage the new N.C. Global Logistics Center, which will work with companies to help them move their materials around the world.

The 80,000-square foot center is being built at Guilford Tech Community College's northwest campus. GTCC will partner with Forsyth Technical Community College, Davidson County Community College and Randolph County Community College to run the center, beginning July 1.

The Piedmont Triad Partnership, an economic development corporation representing 12 counties, will also be part of the center's leadership team, according to a news release from the partnership.
