Return of spring-like weather brings chance of showers
Temperatures will continue to climb this week reaching into the 70s on Thursday but also bringing a chance of storms, the National Weather Service said this morning.
A band of showers is expected to approach the northern Piedmont late this afternoon or early evening, with wind gusts of up to 40 mph possible.
The high today in the piedmont is expected to 64 degrees, the weather service said.
Thursday will be sunny with a high of 72 degrees, but with a 40 percent chance of showers Thursday night into Friday.
