Howell Binkley, a Tony award winning lighting designer and Winston-Salem native, gestures to various aspects of one of his recent lighting designs while teaching lighting design students at the UNCSA school of design and production on Friday, Feb. 10, 2012 in Winston-Salem, N.C. Binkley, an R.J. Reynolds high school alumni, returned to his home town this week to instruct lighting design students and share some of his real world experience.
