Four bulldog puppies stolen

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Four English bulldog puppies were stolen early Monday from a breeder in Pilot Mountain.

Amy Cook said that the 5-week-old puppies were stolen between 12:30 and 4:30 from a kennel behind her home. The thieves left a fifth puppy and the puppies' mother.

"My husband went to check on them at 4:30 a.m., and he saw four of them were missing," Cook said. "The fifth dog was staring at him."

The Surry County Sheriff's Office is investigating the theft, Cook said. The stolen puppies are worth about $6,000, WGHP/Fox8 reported.
