A convenience store in northern Winston-Salem was robbed again early Sunday morning for the second time in two days.
A man entered the Circle K store in the 5700 block of University Parkway at about 4 a.m., pulled out a machete and demanded money, Winston-Salem Police said in a news release.
He left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and rode off in a tan vehicle, police said.
No one was hurt during the incident.
The suspect was described as a black male, about 30 years old, 160 pounds, 5 feet 10 inches tall and wearing a black pullover shirt and baggy jeans.
The previous robbery took place about 2:20 a.m. Saturday, when a man, entered the store, took out a gun, demanded money and left with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said. No one was injured in that incident either.
The suspect in Saturday's robbery was described as a black male,, 30 to 35 years old, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, wearing a grey shirt, dark hoodie and blue jeans.
