Annie Bennett is out as the director of track and field and cross country at Wake Forest, ending an 11-year run at the school.
Athletics Director Ron Wellman announced in a press release yesterday that the contracts of Bennett and her assistants will not be renewed and that a national search for Bennett's replacement will start immediately.
Listed as assistants in track and cross country on the Deacons' website yesterday were Scott Hall, Brian Clymer, Amber Larsen and David Duggan. The release did not name Bennett's assistants.
