Green Street United Methodist Church, 639 S. Green St., will present a concert titled "Go Down, Moses: A Celebration of the Legacy of Harriet Tubman" at 5 p.m. Sunday. Sabbath Indigo, a jazz group, and vocalist Diana Tuffin will perform. There will also be a reading by author Carole Boston Weatherford and an interpretive dance by Nina Lucas. The chancel choir and orchestra of Memorial United Methodist Church, 101 Randolph St., Thomasville, will present a Lenten concert at 7 p.m. March 14. Encounter Church will sponsor the second annual "Summerfield Chili Cook-Off" from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 13 at the Summerfield Fire Department, 7400 Summerfield Road, Summerfield. Cost is $15 to enter chili in one of three categories, and $5 for each additional entry. Prizes will be awarded. Cost to taste chili is $6; free for children ages 12 and younger. Mount Tabor United Methodist Church, 3543 Robinhood Road, will have a clothing exchange. Items will be received from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 6 to 7:45 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. Items will be sold from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday; and 8 a.m. to noon next Saturday. There will also be a half-price sale next Saturday.
