Two Class 2-A sectional semifinal games scheduled tonight have been postponed because of inclement weather, and a third game will have an earlier start time.
The 2-A girls game between East Davidson and Shelby will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Shelby, Athletics Director Danny Palmer of East said, and the 2-A boys game between Canton Pisgah and West Stokes will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at West, Coach Dan Spainhour said.
Also, school officials at Watauga announced that the 4-A boys game between Watauga and Charlotte Garinger in Boone will start at 5:30 because of inclement weather.
All other area games are on as scheduled as of 1:30 Wednesday.
