Three people have been charged in connection with a fight outside of a restaurant on Robinhood Road Tuesday night, police said.

The fight started in the parking lot outside of Paul's Fine Italian Dining in the 3400 block of Robinhood Road about 9 p.m. Police said three people left the Littlejohns Tavern and got involved in a fight. Six people inside Paul's saw the fight and came out to intervene.

Police said when they arrived they saw a man assaulting Giampaolo Perrello, 67, the owner of the restaurant. One of the suspects was stunned with a Taser and taken into custody. Also taken into custody was a woman who tried to interfere with the arrest. A third suspect fled but was later captured by police.

Perrello was treated for injuries at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, police said.
