Forsyth deputies charge woman with felony marijuana trafficking

A Forsyth county woman was charged Monday with two counts of felony trafficking in marijuana and other offenses, court records show.

Janeen Jay Longworth, 56, of 8965 Centergrove Place Drive also was charged with possession intent to sell and deliver marijuana, maintaining a dwelling to keep and sell marijuana and possessing a drug paraphernalia, an arrest warrant say.

A Forsyth County sheriff's deputy accused Longworth on Feb. 3 of manufacturing and possessing more than 50 pounds of marijuana, possessing marijuana with intent to sell and deliver it, maintaining a house to keep and sell marijuana and possessing scales, the warrants show.

Rickey Allen Longworth, 54, and his son, Wesley Allen Longworth, 28, who also lived at 8965 Centergrove Place Drive, were also charged Jan. 19 with trafficking in marijuana, maintaining a dwelling to keep marijuana, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, possession of a drug paraphernalia, court records show.

Court records didn't indicate the relationships between Rickey Longworth and Janeen Longworth.

Janeen Longworth was released from the Forsyth County Jail with bond set at $150,000. She is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 25.

Rickey and Wesley Longworth also released from custody with bonds set at $70,000 each. The men are scheduled to appear in court Thursday.
