Man arrested in connection with felony hit-and-run with injury

A Winston-Salem man was charged yesterday with felony hit-and-run with injury, Forsyth County court records show.

James Allen Atkins, 32, of 5746 Baux Mountain Road, also was charged with one count each of driving without license revoked, resisting a public officer, reckless driving with wanton disregard, improper passing on the right and failure to report an accident.

Atkins was being held yesterday in the Forsyth County Jail, with bond set at $50,000.
