A 26-year-old Winston-Salem man was charged yesterday with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon for attempting to run over three people with his car.
Eddie Dewayne White was arrested and placed in the Forsyth County Jail with bond set at $1,500.
According to an arrest warrant, White was charged with "willful assault with a deadly weapon, a 1995 Chevrolet Corsica, by attempting to hit the victims with a vehicle."
