Police fear missing woman may be dead

SEVEN DEVILS

A woman missing from her home in the Watauga County town of Seven Devils since Nov. 8 may be dead, authorities said today.

Police are still searching for Deana Elizabeth Schermerhorn, 41. The search, which continues, has at points has included a helicopter and dogs.

Authorities are looking for her husband, Christopher Warren Meade, 26, because they want to talk to him.
