WILKESBORO – The box office for MerleFest 2010 opens at 2 p.m. today. Tickets purchases can be made at www.merlefest.org or at 1-800-343-7857. MerleFest is April 29-May 2, 1010.
Doc Watson is scheduled to appear, along with more than 75 acts, including the Avett Brothers, Elvis Costello, Great Big Sea, Wayne Henderson, the Wilders and comedian and actor Steve Martin, who is an accomplished banjo player and has a new album.
