Marine charged in death of Camp Lejeune comrade

CAMP LEJEUNE
A North Carolina Marine has been arrested in the death of a fellow Marine at Camp Lejeune.

Officials at the Onslow County base said 21-year-old Pvt. Jonathan Law was in military custody Friday for a homicide that happened earlier in the day.

Officials gave no other details of what happened, the name of the victim, the suspect's home town or the specific charge. The base said information about the victim will be made available after the slain Marine's family has been notified.

Law is a supply administration clerk who joined the Marines in August 2006. He served in Iraq from August 2007 to March 2008.
