Four men charged in beating

Four Davidson County men are in jail on charges that they beat another man last week, leaving him with serious head injuries, the Davidson County Sheriff's Office said today in a news release.
On June 4, Joshua Nunn told Lexington police that he had been assaulted by four people in Finch Park. After investigating, Lexington police found that the incident had happened on Dellwood Drive off East Center Street Extension in Davidson County. The sheriff's office began working with the Lexington police in the investigation.
Nunn was taken to Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center where he was treated with potentially life-threatening head injuries. He was listed in good condition this afternoon.
Between Thursday and Saturday, the sheriff's office and Lexington police arrested four men. Matthew Heath Tidwell, 18, of Lexington, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious bodily injury and felony conspiracy.
Robert Pierce Everhart, Kyle Martin, and Mitchell William Young, all of Lexington, were each charged with felony aid and abet assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious bodily injury and felony conspiracy. Everhart and Martin are both 18. No age was given for Young.
All four men are in the Davidson County Jail, with bond set for each at $250,000.
