Gunmen objecting to man's arrest fire on office in Mexico

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Mexican officials said yesterday that gunmen opened fire on a government office in retaliation for the arrest of a man accused of dissolving about 300 bodies in a corrosive material.

The attack damaged the facade of the offices on the highway between Tijuana and Ensenada.

Santiago Meza Lopez was held at the same office last week. He is believed to have spent 10 years disposing of bodies for one of the area's top drug lords.
