»  Comments | Post a Comment

Two people were shot yesterday in Watauga County during an apparent domestic dispute, according to the Watauga County Sheriff's Office.
Johnny Greene shot Kimberly Greene with a rifle and then shot himself, authorities said. Both live at 480 Diamond Ranch Road, although a sheriff's report did not say what their relationship is.
They were taken to Johnson City Medical Center in Tennessee, where they were listed in serious condition this afternoon.
A 911 call at 6:22 p.m. reported an alleged domestic dispute at the home. Officers were on the way when a second 911 call reported that two people had been shot.
When officers arrived at the home, they found Kimberly Greene shot in the abdomen and Johnny Greene shot in the chest, according to the Sheriff's Office. A landing zone was set up about two tenths of a mile from the home and the victims were airlifted in separate aircraft.
The Sheriff's Office is investigating.
