Roadside bombs kill at least 10 across Iraq

BAGHDAD -- Eight Iraqi soldiers and two civilians were killed yesterday in three attacks in which insurgents used roadside bombs against the Iraqi army.

In Diyala province, two roadside bombs exploded simultaneously near an Iraqi army convoy, killing six soldiers and injured three others in the convoy near the town of Jalawla, about 75 miles north of Baghdad. In the second attack, a roadside bomb exploded in the town of Rashad in Kirkuk province, killing two soldiers and wounding two others.

In the third attack, in Mosul, a roadside bomb meant for an Iraqi army patrol killed two street cleaners instead.
