MARS HILL -- Authorities said a man died after his all-terrain vehicle overturned early Christmas morning on a road in the North Carolina mountains.
Troopers said thet incident happened around 2 a.m. Friday.
Authorities say the victim, whose name had not been released Saturday, was not wearing a helmet and died at the scene.
Troopers say he had a bottle of homemade alcohol in his pocket and a 12-pack of beer was strewn across the road.
