GASTONIA -- A North Carolina man has been charged with a 1992 slaying just days after being arrested in the deaths of two women whose bodies were found in South Carolina.
Danny Robbie Hembree Jr., 47, of Gastonia was charged with killing a third woman 17 years ago.
James Arthur Swanson, 41, of Gastonia are accused of killing the woman in a Gastonia cemetery. Swanson is in custody.
Hembree was arrested Saturday and charged in the deaths Randi Dean Saldana, 30, and Heather Catterton, 17, both of Gastonia.
Saldana's body was found burned on a road in Kings Mountain State Park in South Carolina last month. C
atterton's body was found near Clover, S.C., in late October.
