A judge today set a tentative trial date of May 4 for Brandon Dalrymple, 23, the last of three men to face trial in the killing of an Appalachian State University student.
The body of 19-year-old student Stephen Harrington of Raleigh was found in the trunk of his car in Foscoe on Nov. 2, 2005. His head had been wrapped in duct tape and his body set on fire.
Two other men are in prison in connection with the case. Neil Sargeant was convicted of first-degree murder in April and is serving life without parole. Kyle Quentin Triplett pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and other offenses and was sentenced to at least 40 years in prison.
