The Florida State men won their fourth straight title, and Virginia Tech took the women's championship for the second straight year yesterday at the ACC Outdoor Track and Field Championships at the George C. Griffin Track on the campus of Georgia Tech in Atlanta.
p>■ Arkansas' J-Mee Samuels (Mount Tabor '05) and Georgetown's Matt Debole (Mount Tabor '03) ran to All-America finishes in two races each at the NCAA indoor-track-and-field championships in mid-March. Running on his home track, Samuels had a personal best in qualifying for the 60 meters (6.65 seconds) and then came back with a third-place finish in the 200. His 200-meter time of 20.67 seconds was the fourth-fastest in Arkansas history and the fifth fastest in the world this year.
