    Surry County law enforcement officers arrested more than 20 people during an April Fools Day drug sting Sunday morning. The sting was the result of a months-long undercover investigation, according to the Surry County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies and officers set out to arrest 31 people, and are still looking for those they did not find Sunday morning. Charges included selling and delivering marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine, heroin and prescription medications.
