'Tired Souls' addresses racism

The 2012 Winter Dessert Theatre Series will open with "Tired Souls" at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Walnut Cove Colored School/Senior Center, 308 Brook St., Walnut Cove.

"Tired Souls" explores the stories of Rosa Parks, the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. and the Montgomery, Ala., bus boycott; it is performed by Mike Wiley Productions. Before the performance, Imani Graves will perform a dance program.

Tickets are $14, $12 for seniors and $10 for Stokes County Arts Council members.
