See Shane battle evil in Faith in Film series
The 2012 Faith in Film series kicks off with a showing of "Shane" at 2 p.m. Feb. 5 at Centenary United Methodist Church, 646 W. Fifth St.
The Western film stars Alan Ladd in the title role as a man hired to defend settlers' homesteads from a hired gun and evil incarnate.
Butter Birkas, former executive director of Riverrun International Film Festival, will lead a brief discussion after the free movie.
