Castell del Remei Gotim Bru
The 2008 Castell del Remei Gotim Bru (Costers del Segre, Spain, $15) is yet another value red wine coming out of Spain that doesn't skimp on quality. This wine is mostly tempranillo and garnacha, with lesser amounts of cabernet sauvignon and merlot. It has an earthy aroma, and tastes of cherry, blackberry, bramble, tobacco and tar. It's nicely balanced with a lingering finish. Serve with roasted meats. Available at City Beverage.
