The Montford Park Players will hold the 11th annual Western North Carolina Theatre League United Auditions at Ferguson Auditorium, 340 Victoria Road, Asheville.
Twenty-three theater, talent and media companies will be on hand to develop a database of local actors and technical artists for regional, community and professional companies.
The audition schedules are: 6 p.m. Feb. 24 for young people who will not have reached their 18th birthday by May 1; and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 25 for designers, directors, stage managers, musicians and technicians.
Those auditioning should prepare 90 seconds of material: one monologue or two contrasting monologues, or a monologue and 16 bars of a song. An accompanist will be provided. Youth actors should present a memorized selection, poem, rhyme, monologue or song.
The registration fee is $30.
