Art Briefs: Wilkes library displays African-American artists

The art exhibit "African-American Artist of Wilkes" is on display in the Friends of the Library meeting room at the Wilkes County Public Library, 215 10th St.

Featured artists include Betty Harris Vick, Shana Thomas Potts, James "Bucky" Harris, Leander Harris and Dorothy Davis.

The exhibit will run through Feb. 28 during regular library hours, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays and Fridays; 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays; and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Crafts guild hosts new members jury

The Winston-Salem Crafts Guild is hosting a jury for new members at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 21 at the South Fork Recreation Center, 4403 Country Club Road. The fee to jury is $5.
