Wake Forest Baptist Church, in Wait Chapel at Wake Forest University, will celebrate Black History Month with a performance of excerpts of Alvin Ailey's "Revelations" during the 11 a.m. worship service Sunday. St. Matthew Apostolic Temple Church of Jesus Christ, 3640 New Walkertown Road, will celebrate its 31st church and pastoral anniversaries beginning at 4 p.m. Sunday. The theme is "Still Standing Because of God." The celebration will continue with services at 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; and 3:30 p.m. Feb. 19.
