Rupert Boyd, a noted classical guitarist from Australia, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Brendle Recital Hall at Wake Forest University.
His program, part of the WFU Guitar Series, will feature music from Australia, and music by Albeniz, J.S. Bach, Ponce, Houghton and Granados.
Admission is $12, $10 for seniors. WFU faculty, students and staff will be admitted for free. Call 758-5026.
Organist Marilyn Keiser to perform music of Dan Locklair at St. Paul's
Premier organist Marilyn Keiser will perform the music of Dan Locklair at 7:30 p.m. Friday in St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 520 Summit St.
The program, celebrating the release of The Music of Dan Locklair, Keiser's CD, will feature music from that recording. Keiser will teach a master class from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday in Hanes Auditorium at Salem College. Both are free. Call 723-4394, ext. 259.
