The movie The Hangover, which stars Wilkesboro native Zach Galifianakis, has become the top-selling comedy DVD of all time. According to Warner Home Video, more than 8.6 million copies have been sold, including 1.5 million on Blu-ray. Last summer, the movie became the top-grossing R-rated comedy of all time, earning more than $467 million in worldwide box office.
Galifianakis also co-stars in the movies Up in the Air and Youth in Revolt, now in theaters, and on the HBO comedy series Bored to Death, which has been renewed for a second season.
