Gateway Gallery of The Enrichment Center will celebrate the opening of its new exhibition with a free reception from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday. The Enrichment Center Percussion Ensemble will perform.
"Surfacing" comprises boldly colored pottery by Valarie Williams; encaustic paintings by Nadine Buckinger inspired by cave paintings, Inuit sculpture, and outsider art; impressionist-style paintings by Hilda Spain-Owen; and landscape paintings by Judy Stead.
