»  Comments | Post a Comment

Piedmont Environmental Alliance will present the drama-documentary-animation hybrid, The Age of Stupid, 8 p.m. Tuesday at Aperture Cinema, 311 W. Fourth St. In the film, a lone archivist in the ravaged, war-torn, flooded world of 2055 examines six people living in the early 21st century whose lives seem to foretell aspects of the impending doom of his present world. The screening is intended to help raise awareness of climate change and its potential threat to our world.

Admission is $10, and all proceeds will benefit the alliance. Tickets can be bought from the Aperture Cinema box office, www.aperturecinema.com, or 722-8148, or from PEA, 1959 N. Peacehaven Road, No. 257. For more information, visit www.peanc.org.
