Music Briefs: Chamber music on bill at UNCSA

Faculty artists and others will perform chamber music from Latin America at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in Watson Hall at UNC School of the Arts.

The program, called "Latin Love," will include Alfonso Fuentes' Mejunje del fagobongo, José Pablo Moncayo's Almatzinac, Eduardo Morales-Caso's The Accusing Heart, Astor Piazzolla's L'histoire du tango and Miguel del Aguila's Latin Love.

Guest soprano Elizabeth Rose and the Celloship Ensemble, which consists of UNCSA students, will team up in Heitor Villa-Lobos' Bachianas Brasileiras No. 5.

Tickets are $12, $10 for seniors and students. Visit www.uncsa.edu/performances or call 721-1945.
