Temple Emanuel will present the film, Addicted to Plastic, as part of its environmental-movie-night series. A social will start at 6:30 p.m., and the film at 7 p.m., Thursday, at Temple Emanuel located at 201 Oakwood Drive. The documentary examines the pervasiveness of plastic in our society and its impact on the environment, including the "plastic island" in the Pacific Ocean where plastic debris accumulates.
A discussion will follow the film, and refreshments will be served. The screening is open to the public and admission is free, but donations are accepted.
