Hamlet and Taming of the Shrew: The North Carolina Shakespeare Festival will hold auditions for its 2010 outreach and education program, Shakespeare To Go, 2-7 p.m. Tuesday and Oct. 1, at the NCSF's Spirit Center, 807 W. Ward Ave., High Point. There are roles available for four adult males and two adult females. Those auditioning should prepare two, brief contrasting monologues and be prepared to sing and/or play an instrument.

Inertia -- Remembering the Holocaust: The Alban Elved Dance Company will hold auditions 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, at the Salem College Dance Studio, 601 S. Church St. There are roles available for actors, dancers and community members of all ages.
