Theater Brief: N.C. Black Repertory Company releases 2009-10 slate

The North Carolina Black Repertory Company has announced its production-and-event lineup for the 2009-10 season. It will include the following:

Oct. 22: Reaching for God With Dirty Hands and Tainted Blood, NCBRC Teen Theatre Ensemble.

Oct. 24-25: Zora, a collaboration with the Forsyth County Public Library's Big Red program.

Dec. 4-6 and Dec. 11-13: Black Nativity.

Dec. 26-Jan.1: Kwanzaa celebration.

The 2010 season will include:

Jan. 15: Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. birthday celebration.

Feb.19-21 and Feb. 26-28: Four Queens-No Trump.

April 30-May 1: Valued Voices, NCBRC Teen Theatre Ensemble.

May 7-9 and May 14-16: The Glory of Gospel.

All performances will be held at the Arts Council Theatre, 610 Coliseum Drive.
