The Revolve Film and Music Festival will present The Music of the Brain 7 p.m. Friday at the Salem College Fine Arts Center. The documentary, directed by Fiona Cochrane, examines music's role in human-brain development, beginning with premature infants, moving through the role of music in enhancing performance in childhood, the role of music therapy in hospital patients, and finally looking at the elderly.
Tickets are $5 online, $7 at the door. Salem College faculty, staff and students are admitted free with valid ID.
