The UNC School of the Arts' Studio IV will present William Inge's Picnic at the Catawba Theatre, Performance Place, 1533 S. Main St.
Laura Henry directs this story of a young man's arrival in a peaceful town followed by a love affair that shakes the moral and emotional foundations of the townsfolk.
Showtimes are 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 18-21; and 2 p.m. next Sunday and Nov. 21.
Tickets are $12, $10 for students and seniors.
