»  Comments | Post a Comment

Wesley, a locally produced feature film about the life of John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist movement, will premiere at the Stevens Center of the UNC School of the Arts. The film focuses on Wesley's early life, and the personal struggles that led to his spiritual transformation and, ultimately, to revolutionary changes in England in ministry to the poor and outcast.

The Rev. John Jackman, an award-winning filmmaker and Moravian minister, directed the film, which was largely shot in Forsyth County and features an original music score composed by UNCSA alumnus Bruce Keisling.

Showtime is 7 p.m. Saturday.

Tickets are $14, $12 for students with ID, $10 for children under 12.

For more information, see Thursday's edition of relish. To buy tickets, call 721-1945.
