Piedmont Craftsmen will hold a Recycling Labyrinth Swap-a-Thon from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Saturday at the AOL Conference Center, 521 N. Liberty St.
The project will be led by Bryant Holsenbeck, a mixed-media artist who will guide participants in designing a labyrinth made from still-usable household items. Participants can bring non-clothing items no larger than a microwave oven to be incorporated into the labyrinth, and they can also choose an item from the labyrinth to take home to use.
At the end of the project, the items from the labyrinth will be donated to such local nonprofit organizations as Habitat ReStore, the Rescue Mission and Goodwill Industries.
There is no entrance fee, but a $5 donation is suggested. For more information, call 725-1516.
