A Singles Dance will be at 8 p.m. Friday at the Oriental Shrine Club, 5010 High Point Road, Greensboro.

OUT at the Movies, Winston-Salem and the Triad's GLBT film series, will screen Pedro at 8 p.m. Saturday at the ACE Theatre Complex on the campus of UNC School of the Arts, 1533 S. Main St.

Pedro is the story of Pedro Zamora who in 1994 joined the cast of MTV's Real World -- San Francisco. Written by Academy Award winner Dustin Lance Black who wrote Milk, the film chronicles the life of Zamora, a young gay man and an AIDS educator/activist.

Admission is $5; all proceeds benefit UNCSA's School of Filmmaking and the Adam Foundation.
